Carrie,

Your words are encouraging.  I recently started Lou's program and am excited to change my life.  I have a long journey ahead of me but knowing that other people are there for support is a great feeling.

Carrie is a weath of info and a great insight to how to battle the challenges of every day life. She is a positive role model to the MAXIMUM. I had recently hit a week where life doth over taketh thine attempt to prosper physically. She snapped my focus right back to where it needed to be. Coach Lou is the exact balance to this equation. He is the task master and the man who forces accountability. I love that he is the "no excuses" man.

Being successful at physical fitness makes everything drop into place. Mood, attitude, physical attractiveness, it all comes into a nice balance. Carrie is a great example of this. Coach Lou got her there.

It has recently come into light that this forum is a perfect place to "get down to the ugly truth" so we can all benefit.

Here's to facing the honest ugly of what we may be today... and challenging ourselves to be our own version of beautiful.

As Coach Lou says.. KEEP MOVING!  A light sweat a day keeps the BS away.

Cheers to everyone's little successes and big successes!

I ask How can I help?

I would like to help anyone that I can... reach a level of success that they have not known before.

Maybe you think your question is not worth asking....I am sure there are others that have the same question...so take the chance and ask away!!! Or maybe you have a random thought that might help someone get through a tough day. I know personally I have days where a good quote from someone helps make sense of how I am handling a challenge or choice. For instance...

"There are no setbacks only opportunities for change." or "Carrie was not built in a day"

So I ask...How can I help?

Carrie

I never did anything worth doing by accident,
nor did any of my inventions come by accident;
they came by work.

Just went down memory lane...back to some quotes that got me through some pretty challenging days. Here's one to think about...

"Health is something we do for ourselves, not something that is done to us; a journey rather than a destination; a dynamic, holistic, and purposeful way of life." - Dr. Elliott Dacher

OH.. here are some of the quotes I have posted in my house:

"You've got to win in your mind before you win in your life."

" Attitude, not aptitude, determines altitude"

"Excuses are the tools of the incompetent; they build monuments of nothingness"

"The man who cannot believe in himself cannot believe in anything else"

and finally my favorite today....

"Only when I become willing to exert effort, shall I see the fulfillment of my dreams. Only when I work at bettering MY part of the world, shall I see the world change for the better"

"Stalling is much easier than starting. However, it actually makes your life harder.  You have to START before you can succeed at anything."

Stalling takes more energy than to focus on moving forward from the starting box.

I find myself saying "you gotta start somewhere" a lot lately. Maybe that is because I am constantly learning and pushing myself to new heights. So if you find yourself at a crossroads...wanting more, not sure if you can do it...put yourself in the mindset of "you gotta start somewhere" and see what the positive possibilities are!!

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
